    Anders Hauch, Founding Partner and Investment Director in Frontier Energy, one of leading investors and developers of greenfield renewable energy in Sub-Saharan Africa with two renewable energy funds under management with total capital commitment of USD 300m, funded by European development banks, institutional, and private investors. After a decade in start-ups and emerging market business development, he co-founded Frontier Investment Management in 2011 as the management company for the Frontier Energy Group’s investment funds, to bring clean and affordable power to Africa for the good of the planet, people, and profit. Today his group is developing, constructing, and operating solar, wind and hydropower across Sub-Saharan Africa.

    Peter Maila
    Co-Chief Investment Officer at FMO
    Peter Maila joined FMO in December 2022 as Co-Chief Investment Officer, with over 27-years working experience in finance and impact investing. He came to FMO from his previous position as Africa Coverage Director at British International Investment (BII) in London. He was a founding member of their Equity Investments team, where he executed impactful transactions in Africa and South Asia. Prior to BII, Peter was the Investment Director, Principal Investments at HSBC Bank in London, where he worked on prusuing opportunities in sub-Saharan Africa. Before that, Peter worked at Rand Merchant Bank (RMB) and at Standard Bank, both in South Africa, his country of origin. For Vodacom Peter was a finance manager in South- Africa as well as in Tanzania. Peter is Co-CIO alongside our other Co-CIO Huib-Jan d eRuijter. Together they are responsible for FMO’s investment activities wherby Peter will focus on ESG, Private Equity and KYC.

    Yemi Keri is a Chair and Non-Executive Director and award-winning commercially minded technologist with 23 years of experience in the Information Technology and Telecommunications industries serving in both the public and private sectors. She is at the forefront of digital transformation to tackle business and social problems; recognized as one of the foremost women in Technology in Nigeria with demonstrable evidence of delivering innovative business solutions through technology. Yemi is a Board member of the First City Monument Bank Ltd (FCMB), Investment One Financial Services, the Nigerian-German Chamber of Commerce, Beyond Credit Limited, GAIA Africa, and Nigeria Climate Innovation Centre. She is the Digital Platform and Financial Services Thematic Lead of the Nigeria Economic Summit Group(NESG), a member of Governing Council of the Fintech Association of Nigeria, and on the Advisory Board of Ingressive LLC, Majeur Chesterfield, and SabiHub. Yemi Keri is the CEO Heckerbella Limited and Co-Founder of Rising Tide Africa, a women’s movement initiated with a vision to increase women’s participation in angel investing as an asset class and promote education, cross-border investing, and investor-mentoring across Africa. She is a member of the Board of Governors of the Lagos Angel Network and serves on the Board of Africa Business Angel Network (ABAN) as well as the Investment Committee of Acumen Resilient Agriculture Fund (ARAF), managed by Acumen Capital Partners. She is a mentor to various digital and technology-enabled start-ups. Yemi is an Expert in Residence (EIR) at the Enterprise Development Centre (EDC) and a Facilitator on Corporate Governance and Digital Technology & Trends at the Pan- Atlantic University, Lagos. She was honoured as Nigeria's most outstanding Public Sector CIO at the ICT Centenary Awards in 2014.
