Christoph D. Kauter is Founder and Managing Partner of Beyond Capital Partners – a Frankfurt based Private Equity investor focusing on the acquisition of majorities of profitable SME´s in the DACH region.With more than twenty years of experience, Christoph stands for in-depth knowledge in the fields of Private Equity, M&A, Corporate Finance and Equity Capital Markets and is holding Executive Board positions at Private Equity firms since 2008. Christoph has gathered ample transaction expertise in dozens of acquisitions and exits, long-standing know-how in the business development of portfolio companies and an extensive network into the German speaking SME environment.

Daniel Boege is Partner and Head of Buyout, joined Golding Capital Partners in 2011. He is responsible for the identification, analysis, due diligence and selection of buy-out funds. Before joining Golding Capital Partners, Mr Boege gained experience as an investment professional in private equity firms over 10 years. During this time he worked for Permira in Frankfurt and Vestar Capital Partners in Munich and was involved in various national and international transactions. Mr Boege earned a BSc and an MSc in Management, with distinction, from the London School of Economics. He also holds an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau.

Manuel Hertweck is Managing Partner of capiton, which he joined in 2006 from a publicly listed merchant-banking group. Prior to this, he gained significant operational experience as a Member of the Board of Strato Medien AG, one of German’s leading web hosting businesses. Mr. Hertweck started his career with Mars & Co, the international strategy firm, in London and Paris. Mr. Hertweck holds a B.A. cum laude from Hamilton College, where he graduated in 1990. He held the position of Chairman of the Board for two capiton portfolio companies, nora systems GmbH and Schur Flexibles GmbH and Vice Chairman of Prefere Resins. From 2015 until 2018 he was also a member of Invest Europe’s Mid-Market Council.

Born in 1980, Spokesman of the Board of Management since March 2023; Member of the Board of Management since March 2021; appointed until end of February 2026. Tom Alzin joined Deutsche Beteiligungs AG in 2004 and became a Managing Director in 2011. He has 18 years of experience in the private equity business. Tom Alzin holds a degree in Business Administration from the HEC Lausanne, and also studied at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
