Nicole Waibel is a Managing Director at Crescent Capital and has been working in European Private Debt for over 20 years. Prior to joining Crescent in 2013 she worked with Indigo Capital, a leading European specialist lending funds since 2001. She previously worked for BNP Paribas in Media & Telecom finance in Paris and Frankfurt (1999-2001). Nicole started her career at Arthur Andersen in transaction support services in Frankfurt. She has a Masters degree in Economics and completed her studies at Münster University and Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Founded in 1991 Crescent Capital Group LP is headquartered in Los Angeles with offices in Boston, London and New York. With almost 100 investment professionals and over 200 employees, the firm invests at all levels of the capital structure, with a significant focus on below investment grade credit through strategies that invest in senior bank loans, high yield debt, mezzanine debt and other private debt securities. As of December 31st, 2021, Crescent Capital Group manages approximately $38 billion in assets, with a relatively equal split between marketable securities and privately originated debt investments.

Daniel Roddick CFA founded Ely Place Partners in 2018.

Ely Place is a specialist adviser in alternative assets. It assists PE, credit, infrastructure and venture GPs raise capital from institutional investors, and acts as a specialist adviser on secondary and co-investment transactions.

Ely Place has been particularly active in advising private debt managers on the raising of capital as well as GP-led secondary transactions.

Daniel has 20 years of experience in private equity advisory, formerly running the placement division of EPIC Private Equity. Prior to that he worked at Campbell Lutyens and McKinsey and Co. Daniel read Engineering, Economics and Management at Oxford University, has an MA from Royal Academy of Music and is a CFA charter holder.

Raphaël is the Head of Equity Risk Management at the European Investment Fund , a leading financial institution in the European PE / VC / Private Credit markets, playing a crucial role in the creation and development of high-growth and innovative SMEs. At the EIF, he previously led the Guarantee & Microfinance Risk Management Unit, focussing on the development of various inclusive finance mandates and inclusive finance products. Raphaël has started his career at KPMG Brussels and Ernst & Young Luxembourg, as audit manager in charge of worldwide Private Equity clients.

Raphaël holds a Master in Management from the University of Liège, an MBA from the Politecnico Milano Graduate School of Management and is a visiting professor in charge of the Entrepreneurial Finance and Consulting Project courses at the Louvain School of Management (UCL).

Danny VroegopDanny VroegopCo-founder & CIO at Colesco Capital

Danny is the Co-Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Colesco Capital. He is the Chairman of the Investment Committee and the Executive Board. Within Colesco, Danny is also responsible for investor relations, commercial executive involvement and general management including executive HR, compliance, legal and risk management. Danny has over 25 years of experience in European credit origination and execution. Prior to co-founding Colesco, Danny led the Global Acquisition Finance & Sponsored Coverage franchise of Rabobank. He held several other notable positions as Head of Sponsor Coverage, Head of Leveraged Finance Origination (Europe), and positions involving execution of leveraged finance transactions. Danny started his career as a strategy consultant in the Rabobank Group Strategy and E-commerce teams. Danny holds an Executive MBA from IMD and an MSc in International Finance from University of Amsterdam.
