Marc Zedler is the deputy head of DG COMP’s merger unit dealing with transaction in the IT, telecommunication and media sectors. Previously he had worked in DG COMP’s merger policy and case support unit. Before he joined the European Commission, he was a Senior Associate in a leading law firm in Germany. He studied law in Germany, acquired a PhD in Munich and an LL.M. in Georgetown, Washington DC.

Pedro Hinojo is an Economist working at CNMC (Spanish Commission on Markets and Competition) as the Head of the Information Society Unit in the Competition Directorate, in charge of competition policy in digital, telecom, media, intellectual property and other related sectors. Previously he had worked in the Research Unit, focused on digital markets, sharing economy, telecoms, financial sector and general advocacy and compliance issues. He has worked in other areas of the public sector related to economic analysis and economic policy. He has several publications in these fields and academic experience.

Imogen DitchfieldImogen DitchfieldDirector at Competition and Markets Authority (CMA)

Imogen has been a Director in the Mergers team at the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) since January 2023. In this role, Imogen leads case teams on complex Phase 1 merger cases and oversees the CMA's mergers intelligence function. Imogen was previously an Assistant Director of Mergers and, prior to joining the CMA, a Senior Associate in Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer's London antitrust, competition and trade practice.
