Hanna Danwall is Head of Competition law at Carlsberg Group where she is heading up the department for competition, trade sanctions, personal data protection and stock exchange compliance. Prior to joining Carlsberg she was the Group Competition Compliance Officer at Maersk Group. She started her competition law career at Vinge in Brussels where she advised large multinationals on all aspects of EU competition law. She has LLM’s from Lund University and King’s College London.

Mariska van de Sanden is the head of the sustainability team within the Competition Department of the Dutch Authority for Consumers & Markets (ACM). The team advises internally and externally on sustainability matters and competition law. In that context the team provides informal guidance to business, governmental institutions etc. on sustainability initiatives. Amongst others about a cooperation between Shell and TotalEnergies to jointly offer storage of CO2 in empty gas fields in the North Sea, an initiative between competitors to use an internal CO2 price and an initiative to jointly boycott growers that supply plants with illegal pesticides.

Mariska studied law (Tilburg University) and holds a LL.M. degree in competition law from Kings College, London. After her studies she worked for almost ten years as a lawyer in private practice.
