Paul is a chartered professional electrical engineer with over 21 years’ experience in the rail industry. Paul delivered the Newcastle Light Rail rolling stock as the client-side project manager and has contributed to projects such as Inner West Light Rail, Canberra Light Rail (stage 1 and 2), and Parramatta Light Rail as a technical and operations advisor. He has a passion for innovative projects and products, which sees him involved in decarbonisation of rolling stock, working on NEOM, and the delivery of passenger rolling stock around the world.

Luuk Kessels is a skilled professional with a strong background in Rail. He worked for the Dutch Operator NS for 24 years in multiple roles. Domains like Maintenance, Operational Excelence, Customer Satisfaction, Smooth Introduction of New and Refurbished Rolling Stock, Traindigitalisation and ATO program are familiar for him and he has a proven track record. He contibuted with his team in many succesfull deployment and migration processes enabling the utilisation of new rolling stock and adjucent technologies and working methodologies all over the company and their stakeholders before starting at OTIV. Within OTIV Luuk is Business and Development & Partnership manager for Urban and Main Line and focussed on automation solutiuons within the domain of Urban and Main Line.
