Jaymee BeveridgeJaymee BeveridgeVice-President (Indigenous Strategy & Engagement) at University of Wollongong

Jaymee Beveridge (nee Demos - Ross) is a proud Bindal woman from far north Queensland with family ties to the Torres Strait Island and Palm Island. Her maternal grandmother was Scottish, and she acknowledges the extensive cultural knowledges she was provided from also being raised in a Greek family environment.

Jaymee is the University of Wollongong’s Vice – President, Indigenous Strategy and Engagement. Jaymee has over 18 years’ experience in the Public Service sector, in community service agencies including Child Protection and Homelessness.

Throughout her career, Jaymee has worked with the nation’s most vulnerable, high needs and complex individuals and families. Jaymee is a UOW Alumni and in 2023 became a Harvard Kennedy School alumni – after she won the Roberta Sykes Education Scholarship and spent time in Boston. She is an IMB Community Foundation Committee member and Jaymee recently co-established a NFP volunteer service called ‘Keeping Kids on Country’ in the Illawarra that educates and advocates for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families engaged with Child Protection services.

Recent health and knowledge precinct projects includes the Sydney Childrens’ Hospitals at Randwick and Westmead, Kambri at ANU, and Atlassian Central Sydney.

Eleni, the Lead of Health Advisory and Infrastructure at Linéaire Projects, boasts an impressive journey of over 15 years, spanning both public and private health sectors in Australia, with a dedicated focus on clinical and facility planning, clinical service transformation, and precinct strategy and planning. Her commitment to merging information and human potential has been paramount in formulating visions for health, education, and urban developments. Eleni's roles in senior management within NSW Health have underscored her prowess in health service planning and design, health information management, operational management, and data-driven research.

Eleni spearheads intricate service and infrastructure planning initiatives, emphasising projects that embody the principles of quality, efficiency, and sustainability. Beyond her prominent roles, as an academic at University of New South Wales she mentors the upcoming generation, laying the foundation for innovative and transformative advancements in the multifaceted realm of health service planning and design.
