  • Dr Hassan Kadous
    Dr Hassan Kadous
    Principal Allied Health Advisor at NSW Ministry of Health
    Dr Hassan Kadous is a health professional passionate about system transformation and health system equity. He studied Exercise Physiology & Physiotherapy at Sydney University and has completed a Doctorate of Health Business Administration focusing on the needs of CALD Communities. His career spans clinical leadership, facility, district and statewide project and team management. He has successfully led attaining a $34 million allied health workforce investment from NSW Government and lead the NSW Health Airport response during COVID. He currently leads the Allied Health Portfolio at the NSW Health Workforce Branch, focusing on the pipeline, current and future workforces.

    Roger Hughes is a dietitian who completed his PhD in workforce development in 2003 and has since 2009 been a Professor of Nutrition and Dietetics, Health Professional Education or Public Health at 6 Universities in Australia and New Zealand. His research focuses on health system capacity building particularly as it applied to health and wellbeing promotion and disease prevention. He currently Chairs the Department of Nursing and Allied Health at Swinburne University of Technology.

    Executive Director at SA Dental; Chair, National Dental Directors
    Mark Chilvers has been the Executive Director, SA Dental since October 2018. SA Dental is part of the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) and operates the State’s only public dental service from a network of 42 clinics and service sites across South Australia. SA Dental provides public dental services for children and eligible adults, high level strategic and policy advice to the Minister for Health and Wellbeing and his Department. Mark is the current chair of the National Dental Directors group, helping to lead State and Territory collaboration on policy and funding reform of public oral health services for the nation. Recently, Mark has been working with CALHN on the establishment of the network’s Digital and Strategy Portfolio to enable a digital first approach to improving healthcare outcomes. Mark has a strong background in health service management working at the Royal Adelaide and Queen Elizabeth Hospital’s in SA, is a Certified Practicing Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Adelaide. Mark has professional interests in leadership, complex systems, technology and human behaviour - aimed at the pursuit of improving the health and wellbeing of our population.
