Rav joined Healthe Care in 2021 having held senior roles in hospital and provider contracting for a number of health insurers including HBF and Medibank. An experienced negotiator and relationship manager, he has a passion for working with hospitals to develop new models of care that work for patients, hospitals and funders. Prior to working in private healthcare he worked in roles across Governance, Policy Development, Procurement and Risk Management in a variety of sectors such as IT, Superannuation and Government. Rav has a Bachelor of Laws and is a non-practicing Barrister (England and Wales).

With three decades working in healthcare, Chris has had a career journey that spans many areas of healthcare. Working in acute hospitals both nationally and internationally, his management skills have been honed with over 18 years in middle and senior management positions. Having worked with the Mater Group for over 2 years, Chris’ role is as the General Manager at Mater Private Hospital Redland, where the primary focus is on ensuring exceptional patient care using efficient operational strategies. Chris feels by fostering a positive, collaborative, and growth-oriented culture within healthcare organisations, we can empower both staff and patients to excel while been financially responsible. Chris states that it is a privilege to contribute to the well-being of patients and healthcare professionals alike while shaping the future of healthcare.
