overthinking this and making it about me.

So, you know, you're sitting,
trying to win a big deal from

The mind is saying, I hope the
competition is not too high.

I hope that they like my product.

And this is the reality of what goes on,
doesn't matter the level of seniority.

actually, it's a pretty courageous

move to cut yourself out.

I call it the me sphere
and the you sphere.

Me's fear.

And, and the moment that happens, that
happens, you're listening to yourself.

we do, but what we bring.

say who is out there, who will benefit

my, my talent, my products, my services.

So first question is who then on that
piece of paper at the top, right?

who I am serving.

This it's a very simple exercise.

So you can't be yourself anymore,
but you're that person or you're that

value impact to then write a sentence.

And then under that, say, I want and
then I don't want, halfway down the page.

And every time I do this exercise,
it's shocking how people don't

talk about themselves and their
product, and they actually talk

about it from the other perspective.

Then we create a strategy out of that.

It's simple, it's powerful, whether
you're doing sales or whether

you're doing a full strategy.

The first step is to disengage.

We are too engaged emotionally.

We are too much in the world of I want.

And the mindset is, is
therefore disturbed.

It's, you know, expectation
is the killer of man.

The second thing is I have all
of these, these models and I call

it the value Voro model, which is
the value onion response onion.

It's really getting to grips and getting
inside the hearts and minds of whomever

you are serving to genuinely understand.

So if you think about an onion, you have
a core and then you have all the layers.

an image because the core is the

actual product, actual service or
what you are actually doing, right?

Is the core and the layers represent
the value  of your product.

of whoever you're serving, you need
to understand  and appreciate with a

method that I call spirit of inquiry
to genuinely get inside the hearts

and minds of whomever you're serving.

When you've understood the full value,
then you develop the response and

layer by layer matching responses to.

This is a position of ultimate integrity.
