Cath Russell has led infrastructure and energy initiatives such as siting Australia's radioactive waste facility, managing the removal of 1000 asbestos-contaminated homes, reframing the debate on managing the brumby population in the Snowy Mountains, introducing and expanding Canberra's light rail and numerous remeditation projects. Cath has been an adviser to environment and energy Ministers and Commissioners and currently works directly on the frontline of major renewable projects in Australia. Throughout her career, Cath has restored social licence after significant set backs and pioneered benefit sharing and innovative mitigation programs as a core part of effective community engagement
