Michael Johnson

Michael is the General Manager of Community, First Nations and Social Legacy at Transgrid Group. With over 10 years of experience in engagement with major infrastructure projects across NSW, he has worked at Sydney Water, Western Sydney Airport, and WestConnex. Michael enjoys the complexity of engagement that comes along with Major Projects through the project lifecycle of concept, planning, construction, and delivery. It is an exciting time for the energy industry, and he is passionate about the transition to renewable energy and is grateful to be part of this movement. Michael champions the voice of the community, valuing the intrinsic information provided to reduce project impacts and maximise the opportunities that leave a positive social legacy outcome for regional Australia.
