Tavia brings her background in program/project management within various industries and her passion for building a more sustainable and just future to deliver meaningful solutions that exceed client needs.

Hewson BaltzellHewson BaltzellPresident + COO at Helios Exchange

Hewson Baltzell is President, COO, and initial investor in Helios Exchange, a SaaS business focused on energy efficiency in commercial buildings that has significant potential for reducing carbon emissions. He is also on the planning team of OS-Climate, an initiative under the Linux Foundation to create an open-source data and application development community to bring more and better climate data and analytics to institutional investors, regulators, and the public at large. Previously, as co-founder of MSCI ESG Research, Hewson spent 17 years building the dominant firm in the environmental, social, and governance research field, from a 2-person start-up in 1998. Hewson was on the Board and Audit Committee of the Global Impact Investing Network for 7 years, on the Standards Advisory Council (the rating committee) of B-Lab for 10 years, and was the CEO of the Sorenson Impact Center at the University of Utah’s David Eccles School of Business.

Lindsay RossLindsay RossDirector, Client Service at Moody’s ESG Solutions

Lindsay is the Climate Product Specialist Global Lead for Moody’s ESG Solutions. She works closely with diverse clients from across the financial system, including banks, asset managers, asset owners, regulators, and corporations to help them understand and report on the economic impacts of climate change to a broad range of asset classes. Lindsay is a frequent public speaker on integrating climate change into financial risk analysis and participates in industry working groups setting standards for climate resilience and adaption. She joined Moody’s from the acquisition of Four Twenty Seven, Inc., a pioneer in climate change risk analytics for financial markets. There she worked on advisory projects analyzing clients’ portfolio physical climate risk exposure, including to real assets (commercial real estate, horizontal infrastructure). Lindsay studied at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), focusing on Energy, Resources, and the Environment as well as International Finance and Economics.

Helena ArizaHelena ArizaESG Program Manager, Climate Resiliency Lead at Nova Group, GBC

Helena Ariza is an architect from Barcelona, licensed as a Registered Architect (RA) in the State of New York and in Spain. Due to her love for the environment, early in her career she decided to focus on promoting sustainable practices and tackling climate change. Helena currently manages the ESG Program for Nova Group GBC, developing and conducting ESG and Climate Resilience Assessments for Commercial Real Estate. With a background in façade design and energy code compliance, she combines her diverse experience to develop innovative approaches to fulfill the industry needs and requirements in a fast-evolving environment.

Helena’s passion for green design and construction started during her career in Barcelona, where she worked for the local government. During that period, her interest in sustainable practices led her to obtain a postgraduate degree in Architectural Restoration, along with other studies focused on energy efficiency for social housing. Since she moved to New York in 2015, Helena continues to keep an eye on European regulations in order to help anticipate future needs in the Americas
