Tom has led the UK and German division since April 2017. He joined National Express in 2011 as Group Business Development Director and was appointed Managing Director UK Coach in November 2012. He added responsibility for National Express Rail in January 2017.

Before joining National Express, Tom was Senior Vice President, Commercial Development, for FirstGroup America, with responsibility for building the commercial contracting capability of the business. Previously he held a number of roles at First Great Western Trains including two years on the Board as Commercial Director.

John Goddard is Vice Chair for Sustainability and a Senior Partner at L.E.K. Consulting. He leads the firm’s sustainability initiatives and is a founding member of the L.E.K. Sustainability Centre of Excellence. The Centre draws together expertise, best practices and strategic insights from the firm’s practices and geographies to support organizations as they work to meet the challenges of — and identify opportunities related to — climate change and the broader sustainability agenda. John is a thought leader in the sustainability space. He has been providing though leadership and fresh insights through L.E.K.’s platform and external media outlets such as the Financial Times, The Economist, CNBC, HBR and more. John has been recognised as a Global Leader in Consulting by the Consulting Magazine in 2018. He has over 25 years of experience advising senior executives across industrial and transportation sectors globally and is one of the firm’s most experienced M&A Partners.
