Magdalena Nowicka Mook brings experience in fundraising, coaching, consulting and association management. Currently, she offers her vision and strategic direction as the CEO of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), where she acts as a partner to the ICF's Global Board of Directors. Magda is a trained professional coach and systems’ facilitator.
Ms. Mook has also held positions with the Council of State Governments, where she was the Assistant Director of National Policy and Director of Development. The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Economic Research Service has also utilized Magda's international business acumen, bringing her in for coordinating technical assistance programs and implementing special projects in four European countries.
Magda is a frequent speaker on the subjects of trends in coaching and leadership development as well as regulation and ethics.
Ms. Mook received her M.S. in Economics and International Trade from the Warsaw School of Economics, Poland. She also graduated from the Copenhagen Business School’s Advanced Program in International Management and Consulting. She is a member of the Women's Foreign Policy Group, Forbes.com Council on Non-profits, ATD, ASAE Key Global Associations Committee and the Advisory Board for Institute of Organizational Mindfulness
Magdalena is fluent in Polish, Russian, and English, and has a working knowledge of French.
