been an adventure.

dementia eight years ago,

and this last year has been
a busy one because we are

very involved with PALZ
establishing new groups,

and he gets no rest.

with me on that.

PALZ is a support group for
those from high functioning

backgrounds who've been
diagnosed with dementia

workplace environment,

the peer interaction,
and the supporter.

professional life.

We have CEOs and senior
managers come into a boardroom

setting, which is familiar to
high functioning diagnoses.

And we have interactive
and quite interesting

presentations that challenge
the brain but excite the soul.

I was looking for some
sort of analogy to be able

to to look at things from
multiple perspectives with

any diagnosis of any disease,
but nothing, especially with

dementia, very important for
everyone to be able to see

all aspects of it because it
is a multi impacting disease

and I was in the supermarket.

Buying some donuts because
my grandchildren were coming

and thought, oh my goodness,
look that, there's only a

little bit of icing on that
one, but this other one has

got great gloves of it, and
it was such an an inspiring

analogy that I was compelled
to adopt it for life.

So many, the program
has been outstanding,

has been absolutely.

The variety, the information
being up to date with the,

the latest information on,
on research, being up to date

with the latest information

On dementia, which all of
us have been wondering would

there be the networking that's
been able to happen and more

in, more importantly, I think
the fact that we have been

able to access the people
giving the information,

so the opportunity

for even more follow
up afterwards.

The friendliness, it's a
beautiful conference and,
