Aaron Rodrigues

Aaron is an experienced transport professional with a proven track record in leading and delivering strategic projects and programmes within the Urban Mobility and Public Transport sectors. Within the capacity of his current role as a Principal within Auckland Transport’s Strategic Projects – Planning and Investment division, Aaron leads the development of the Auckland Rail Programme Business Case. This cross-agency investment programme brings together multiple client organisations, customers, funding partners and consulting teams in delivering a multi-billion-dollar 30-year investment programme for Auckland’s future Heavy Rail network. This work has included building and fostering close collaborative relationships with key stakeholders in facilitating robust, evidence-based investment decisions towards delivering on the long-term strategic priorities and outcomes for Auckland. Aaron graduated with a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Auckland and completed his post graduate studies in Transport and Business Management from Imperial College London.
