Ali Yalaz

Ali Yalaz, P.E., LEED AP, is a Consulting Engineer with Simpson Gumpertz & Heger Inc. (SGH) Building Technology group. He received his B.S. in Architecture Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2016. His work at SGH encompasses a variety of enclosure-related projects, including energy modeling, building enclosure commissioning, computational analysis of existing and proposed building enclosure systems, and building enclosure consulting. Ali is a certified Passive House U.S. (PHIUS) Verifier and Home Energy Rating System (HERS) Rater. Ali has authored technical papers and presented on topics ranging from air sealing of building enclosures, enclosure commissioning methods, and lessons learned on building physics and enclosure performance.
