Amaka Okechukwu Opara

Amaka is an investment professional with over 15 years of experience in finance and investments. She is the founding partner of the WEAV Capital, a mission driven venture capital fund that invests in female led companies that are spearheading innovation and solving critical problems. She previously worked at the World Bank on private sector development, directly managing a portfolio of $1.1 billion in projects across Sub Saharan Africa. She has extensive experience funding and providing technical assistance to entrepreneurs, business incubators and venture capital firms in Sub-Saharan Africa.
