Andre Brouwers
CEO at Brouwers Capital
André is the CEO of Brouwers Capital and an investment authority in The Netherlands, featuring regularly in the Dutch financial media.
He has a deep background in trading, working for companies such as Thompson-Reuters and Van Der Moolen, a large, Dutch proprietary trading company. He was one of the first employees of Transtrend, where he co-developed systematic trading systems, and helped develop it into a leading Dutch hedge fund with $5bn of assets under management.
Andre is also the founder and Director of Beleggingsinstituut (‘The Investment Institute, previously Alex Academy), the largest independent educational institution for private investors in The Netherlands. André advises high net worth individuals and has won multiple times the highly regarded National Investment Debate organised by Lynx, the Interactive Brokers subsidiary in The Netherlands.
His personal philosophy and trading strategies are based on always being prepared for unknown events. The objective is to always achieve superior risk adjusted returns for his clients.
