Anoop Rastogi
President at Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery and Medicine

Dr Rastogi grew up in the beach side city of Newcastle, Australia and began his medical career in 1989, graduating from the University of Newcastle Medical School. He served his surgical residency at home in Australia before travelling overseas to complete his advanced training in cosmetic surgery. Dr Rastogi is a fellow of the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery and holds procedure specific registration in breast surgery, liposculpture and body contour surgery, cosmetic facial surgery and cosmetic medicine. Dr Rastogi trained under acclaimed surgeons such as Georgio Fischer MD in Rome the father of Liposculpture, Docteur Jean-Luc Bachelier in Paris and Dr Anthony Erian the then President of the European Academy for Cosmetic Surgery. Under Dr Erian he trained at the prestigious Cosmetic Surgery units of Guys Hospital London (Nuffield House) and the Cambridge Private Hospital. Back home in Australia, Dr Rastogi established his practice in Sydney’s Double Bay, seeing patients from across the country and around the world. Dr Rastogi has recently become the President of the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery and Medicine (ACCSM) which aims to uphold the industry standard and ensure medical practitioners are operating accordingly. The ACCSM teaches practitioners new skills and techniques to improve their practice and therefore Dr Rastogi understands the importance of training in the field of cosmetic surgery. Previously, Dr Rastogi was the Vice President and Ethics Subcommittee member and Director of Training of the ACCSM. Dr Rastogi is frequently asked for commentary in the popular media and is an advisor on cosmetic surgery to several organisations. He sees his role in this respect as an educator to the public. Backed by his training and experience, Dr Rastogi aims to provide each patient with individual care when planning and performing cosmetic procedures.
