Benedikt von Braunmühl

Benedikt v. Braunmühl has close to 30 years of experience in the life science industry.

He started his career as a trainee in the pharmaceutical industry and product manager in the affiliate in Brazil, moved into investment banking for pharma and biotechnology and decided to switch back into the operational life science industry and focus on prevention, diagnostics, and prediction.

That journey started at Chiron Vaccines, as Marketing director Pediatrics Vaccines from where he moved as Head of Latin America back to Brazil. After the integration of the Chiron Vaccines business into the Latin American Novartis Network, following the acquisition of Chiron by Novartis, he build the Latin American business for QIAGEN from scratch through M&A and commercial expansion. Following positions at QIAGEN as GM Italy and VP Emerging Markets, he was promoted as SVP Global Commercial Operations and was member of the Executive Committee.

His last position prior HMNC Brain Health was Chief Operating Officer at Medicover AB - a public listed company at the NASDAQ Stockholm - and member of the Executive Committee.

Since May 2021, Benedikt von Braunmühl is CEO of HMNC Brain Health, the pioneer in precision psychiatry.
