Cory Janssen is the Co‐Founder, Co‐CEO of AltaML, a Canadian artificial intelligence scaleup that designs and implements applied AI solutions for businesses. Cory drives AltaML's growth strategy and actively helps business leaders understand how implementing AI can be a horizontal enabler to create a competitive advantage. He has been involved in several successful ventures and is best known for co-founding and growing Investopedia.com which was sold to Forbes Media in 2007.

Cory is active in the Albertan entrepreneurial ecosystem and is a member of the Business Council of Alberta, A100, C100, and YPO. He is also a past president of the Edmonton Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) chapter, a director at Verticalscope (TSX: FORA) and McCoy Global (TSX: MC😎, and he sits on several private company advisory boards.
