Craig Brakey
President at Advance West North West Association

Craig's entrepreneurial outlook, community focus and awareness has allowed him to develop and grow a number of successful business and committee support opportunities. He believes in fostering and developing teams and individuals to achieve a sustainable outcome for mutual benefit. Craig has been involved in numerous charity initiatives and has been the Chairman of the Ronald McDonald Charity Ball Committee for over two decades. Currently he is involved in a number of projects which he believes will have significant benefit to the West and Northwest of the state and ultimately Tasmania and Australia. Renewable energy, green hydrogen for domestic and export use is the future and Craig is pleased to be pushing these initiatives. Linked to these endeavors, and through extensive community engagement, Craig has initiated a regional association, the Advance West Northwest (AWNW) Association which has an aim to promote the skills, capabilities and opportunities within the region. The Assocation is particularly keen to encourage regional youth and individuals in transition to look at the growing renewable energy and supportive sectors for their future. AWNW's membership is extensive and expanding and we are encouraged that the regional industry base has embraced and is strongly supportive of our regional development objectives.
