Daina Selvig

Daina Selvig is VP Legal and Chief Compliance Officer for Ardelyx, Inc. (Nasdaq: ARDX), a biopharmaceutical company founded with a mission to discover, develop and commercialize innovative first-in-class medicines that meet significant unmet medical needs.

Before joining Ardelyx, Daina was Deputy General Counsel for Sunovion Pharmaceuticals, VP Legal and Chief Compliance Officer for Keryx Biopharmaceuticals (now Akebia), Senior Director of Compliance for Ironwood Pharmaceuticals and Senior Corporate counsel for Pfizer. Prior to that she was an attorney at the law firms DLA Piper and Hughes, Hubbard & Reed, where she advised management teams regarding product promotion, fraud and abuse/anti-kickback issues, corporate compliance and ethics training, internal investigations, securities litigation and various other issues. Daina holds law degrees from Queen’s University (Canada) and Harvard Law School, and is admitted to practice in New York, Massachusetts and Ontario (Canada).
