David Judge

David Judge is a highly experienced and qualified Track Manager and holds an MEng Rail Infrastructure consultancy degree, and a BEng Mech engineering degree.
David has worked in the UK, NZ and Australia rail industries starting his career in the UK whilst studying Mechanical Engineering. David spent his early career (14 years) in Maintenance and Construction of the track and civil aspects of the railway, including signal and communications and overhead installation. For the last 10 years he has specialised in the Asset Management of the Track and Civil Asset from the Asset Owner perspective .
David’s background in mechanical engineering allows a unique perspective between the above rail components (loco / wagon interaction) a below rail civil components. David has a passion for rail wheel interface and preventative maintenance which he uses to enhance maintenance, refurbishment and capital programs.
