Dipo Okuribido

Dipo Okuribido has more than a decade of experience negotiating and executing mergers, acquisitions and corporate restructuring transactions in Nigeria and Ghana. He has advised on deals across a broad spectrum of industries and sectors, working on both buy and sell sides. For the last seven years, Dipo has been part of the legal team at Verod Capital Management, focusing more specifically on private equity and venture capital and has been involved in structuring and executing foreign direct investments into Nigeria and Ghana and navigating the regulatory landscape in both countries.

Dipo holds an LLB (Bachelor of Laws) from the University of Lagos, Nigeria and an MBA (Masters’ in Business Administration) from Gies College, University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. He is an Alumnus of the International Lawyers for Africa Programme, and a member of the Legal and Regulatory Sub-Committee of the Private Equity and Venture Capital Association.
