Dr Matt Pearce

Matt is the National Energy & Utilities sector leader for KPMG in Australia, across the Gas, Renewables, Networks, Retail and Water subsectors. Matt joined KPMG in 2014 as part of KPMG’s acquisition of the mining and utilities focused consultancy, Momentum Partners. Matt’s recent work has concentrated on Customer trust – Matt has been leading significant community engagement work for energy businesses. He has been the lead adviser to the winners of the Energy Network’s Customer Engagement Awards for 2020 and 2022. Energy transition – Matt has been co-leader of significant renewable energy supply chain studies and has also been the lead advisor for funding bids for hydrogen projects – with multiple successful bids made to state governments and ARENA. Strategy – Matt has recently led strategy refreshes for energy and water sector clients around Australia.
