Esmat Jaffer

Esmat is currently the General Director of the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) and National Examinations of Education & Training Quality Authority (BQA). She is responsible for managing the NQF and implementation of the National Examinations for G9 and G12. She participated in the establishment, piloting, and implementation of the NQF in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the evaluation and update of NQF policies and procedures. Esmat has also led over 30 quality assurance reviews of various education and training institutions and is experienced in the development and implementation of education strategies. She works on research and application of artificial intelligence tools in various contexts. Before joining the BQA, Esmat worked in the Oil and Gas sector. She also has experience in the banking sector where she started her career with Citibank Bahrain.
