Jason Zhou

Jason is a Young Rail Professional Engineer that looks to research, develop and integrate innovative and sustainable solutions into the rail industry. Jason has a background in Mechatronics Engineering and Mathematical Statistics and looks to leverage the latest cutting-edge technology to integrate into the both design and maintenance of rolling stock services. Jason’s experience includes development of condition monitoring and predictive maintenance reports in Downer’s TrainDNA platform, support of maintenance interval optimisation for the WTP/SGT fleet in NSW and design of ICT solutions to integrate into existing passenger trains in Queensland to allow remote condition monitoring and better improve passenger experience. Over the past year, Jason has been working with Downer to develop their technology strategy and integration in the maintenance and operations business.
