Kate is a senior pharmacist with a strong clinical background in haematology, oncology, transplant and ICU. Kate’s experiences have come from multiple public hospitals in Victoria including 12 years at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. Since 2014, Kate works in the Quality Use of Medicines role at Peter Mac and has been involved in medication safety committees, pharmaceutical and therapeutic committees and risk management. During the development and ongoing use of Parkville EMR, Kate provides advice and guidance on medication regulatory requirements, clinical care standards and practical medication safety considerations. Kate has an interest in medication safety, haematology and oncology.
