Kath Elliott,
Head of Stakeholder and Community Engagement at Squadron Energy

Kath Elliott is Squadron Energy’s Head of Stakeholder and Community Engagement, developing and supporting the social licence and engagement initiatives across the company’s portfolio of renewable energy projects. Kath leads Squadron Energy’s genuine and lasting approach to engaging with the local communities, from early development right through to operations, demonstrating a deep-founded respect for people, communities and the environment. She has worked in the energy sector, mostly wind and transmission, for several years. She has focused on working with communities and stakeholders facing infrastructure development, and facilitating collaborative decision making to improve outcomes. Her infrastructure background has also included water and waste water, transport, rail, road, property, telecommunications and resources. Kath is a highly experienced independent chair of community consultative committees and a former Local Government councillor for a major NSW regional city. She is mother and grandmother, and loves ocean swimming and herding the Under 5/6 year old Nippers at Merewether Beach in Newcastle on summer Sunday mornings.
