Ken Walker

Director at Ngarluma Aboriginal Corporation

Ken Walker

I am an traditional owner of Ngarluma. I completed school in Port Hedland . I began working in heavy industry , I've had my own business in refrigeration and air conditioning and after the sale of that business I looked for something else to do.

I travelled throughout SE Asia, came back travelled around Australia. Returned to WA and began work on Pluto Project and worked on trains 2 and 3. I was fortunate to be able to gain employment with two International companies, Chicago Bridge and Iron and Mamoet Heavy Lift Crane Company. I am currently a Director for Ngarluma Aboriginal Corporation it is a privilege to work with and for my people this has been very challenging at times in Board meetings as we have major stakeholders that we working with also delivering on our Corporations goals to achieve future direction.
