Maree Butler is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in education and vocational training. With over 25 years of experience, she has established herself as a leader known for her innovative approaches and strategic vision. Since joining TAFE Queensland in 2007, Maree has progressed in a number of roles, and is presently the Director, Educational Delivery - Trades & Transport for North region. Based in Townsville at the TAFE Queensland Trade Training Centre, Maree oversees three educational faculties including Building and Industries, Engineering and Automotive, and Maritime. Her commitment to excellence and continuous improvement drives her team to achieve outstanding results. As a seasoned executive and people leader, Maree is an advocate for enabling Queenslanders to reap the lifelong benefits of quality, skilled training. She is committed to fostering a sustainable and productive economy across North Queensland that is adaptable to future opportunities.
