Marie Joyce

Marie is COO, CFO and board director of NTR plc, having spent over 18 years with the group in various leadership positions in wind, solar, toll roads, wastewater treatment, recycling and waste management. NTR currently manages two European wind and solar investment funds and is preparing to launch its third clean energy venture. Underpinning its commitment to ESG, NTR is a signatory to the UN Principles for Responsible Investment.

Marie is also a non-executive director on the board of daa plc, a global airports and travel retail group with businesses in 16 countries, as well as a non-executive board director of Staycity Group, one of Europe’s leading aparthotel operators. She also currently serves on the Programme Board of the MSc. in International Accounting and Analytics Degree of NUI Galway as well as the Sustainability Expert Working Group of Chartered Accountants Ireland. She is formerly the Chair of the Board of Make-A-Wish Ireland.

Prior to NTR, Marie was Senior Director of Strategic Planning for Élan Corporation plc and was previously an Audit & Corporate Finance Manager at Arthur Andersen. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University College Galway and a Master of Accounting from the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School. She is a fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland.
