Dr. Marwa Zaatari, Chief Science Officer at D ZINE Partners, leads the "Air as a Service" initiative, offering consultancy services to enhance indoor air quality, ventilation, dehumidification, filtration, and air cleaning systems. Holding a PhD in Architectural and Environmental Engineering, she actively participates in ASHRAE, where she is a Distinguished Lecturer and holds several key committee positions in ASHRAE Standards 62.1 serving as vice chair and ASHRAE Standard 241 serving as chair of the risk assessment group. Her work focuses on developing standards for energy-efficient and healthy buildings. She also serves as vice-chair of the USGBC Board of Directors and holds positions on the boards of Montana Technologies and enVerid Systems Advisory. Additionally, her contributions extend to the Corsi-Rosenthal Foundation and USGBC Green Schools, where she advises on air quality and sustainability. Zaatari's leadership is instrumental in shaping global standards and practices for healthier indoor environments.
