Megan Barnes
Senior Program Manager at Landscape Architecture Foundation

As Senior Program Manager for research, Megan leads the Landscape Architecture Foundation's Case Study Investigation (CSI) program, Deb Mitchell Research Grant, and Landscape Performance Series initiatives. She also managed the Green New Deal Superstudio initiative (2020-2022). She lectures extensively to landscape architecture and other built environment audiences and has a diverse background in landscape architecture, international development, and nonprofit work. Before joining LAF, she was a two-time Peace Corps volunteer, serving in Guatemala and Panama in health and community gardening. She currently serves on the advisory board for the Coastal Solutions Fellowship program in partnership with the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. Megan has a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Michigan’s School of Natural Resources and Environment.
