Rebekah Ramm

Rebekah is a Tasmanian based Roads and Traffic Engineer with ten years’ experience primarily in the area of transport engineering and planning. She also leads pitt&sherry’s Traffic Engineering capability. Combined with roads engineering experience she has been involved in a diverse range of projects throughout Australia. Most recently Rebekah and her team delivered the Traffic Impact Assessment for the CopperString 2032 project, Australia’s largest transmission line project spanning 1100kms from Townsville to Mt Isa in Far North Queensland. Rebekah has a key interest in the safety and sustainability of our transport networks with a focus on considered transport planning that will meet the changing needs of the community as populations grow and change. Rebekah has been involved in transport assessments for a wide range of renewable energy projects throughout Australia with a significant portion of these in Tasmania. She finds working on renewable energy projects both rewarding and interesting, with each project having different characteristics and challenges. Through the electrification of vehicles and intelligent transport systems, reliable and sustainably produced energy is becoming increasingly important in transport and will continue to in the future.
