Sofia Marsaglia

Sofia Marsaglia is Head of Impact at Catalio Capital Management, LP. She is primarily responsible for all aspects of impact investing and ESG strategy at the firm.

Prior to joining Catalio, Sofia was Director of ESG Advisory at Wallbrook, where she worked closely with asset managers and other financial institutions, helping them to navigate the evolving demands of the ESG and sustainability agenda, assisting them in developing an ESG strategy aligned to key market standards and reporting frameworks and beyond. Sofia began her career at Wallbrook working in the diligence practice.

Previously, Sofia spent three years at another London-based business intelligence firm, where she gained significant experience in due diligence, asset tracing and litigation support-based work. Before entering the business intelligence sector, Sofia worked at a London-based private equity fund. She also previously worked for an NGO focused on training and supporting artisanal gemstone producers in Afghanistan. She continues to support this initiative on an ad-hoc basis.

Sofia earned a B.A. degree in History from Trinity College Dublin and a Masters’ degree in International Relations from the London School of Economics.
