Amit is an Executive Director at Carpediem. He brings with him over 20 years of experience, of which last 16 years have been in Private Equity across India, South Asia & South East Asia, and earlier in Corporate Finance and Entrepreneurship. At Carpediem, he is actively involved in investments and portfolio management and drives institutional fund-raising.
Amit has been involved in over USD 325 Mn of Fund of Fund and Direct investments across sectors like Financial Services, Consumer, Healthcare, Agribusiness, Manufacturing, Renewables, etc. He earlier had stints with Phi Capital, DEG (The German Development and Investment firm), Sun Group & J P Morgan. He had represented DEG on various PE Fund’s LP Advisory committees (LPAC) and Investment committees. He has been involved in marquee transactions like Classic Legends (Jawa motorcycles), MAS financial, Equitas, J K Paper, among others and was active not just at the board level but also at the operational level across various portfolio companies.
Amit is a Chartered Accountant and has a management degree from Indian School of Business (ISB, Hyderabad). He did his under graduation from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University.


Shilpa Kulkarni is the Founder and Managing Partner of Panthera Growth Partners. She brings over 25 years of experience across investing and operating companies in technology and business services in US and India. She holds an MBA degree from Fuqua School of Management, Duke University, and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Mumbai University.

Karthik Chandrasekar is Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Synapses, a VC Fund focused on STEM-led investments in ClimateTech and HealthTech.
Prior to Synapses, Karthik was the founder & CEO of Sangam, an early-stage climate fund co-created with support from Shell Foundation and USAID to find a new model to provide early-stage support for climate change pioneers. He has led investments in clean technology start-ups bringing game-changing technologies and business models to the market. He is also the founder & director of AIC-Sangam, India’s first cleantech Incubator set up in partnership with AIM, Niti Aayog, Government of India.
Karthik led clean-tech investments in India for Acumen and started his India and climate tech investment journey with TVS Capital Funds. Karthik has been an entrepreneur and worked with organizations such as Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch across New York and London.
Karthik holds an MBA from Chicago Booth, MS in Public Policy & Mgmt. from Carnegie Mellon University and a BTech from IIT Bombay.
Karthik spends a lot of his time with the portfolio & within the clean technology innovation eco-system in India & globally. He enjoys the outdoors, cooking, and copious amounts of coffee.

As President of the Indian Venture and Alternate Capital Association (IVCA), Rajat Tandon plays a pivotal role in advocating for public policies that drive the development and growth of the Indian Alternate Asset ecosystem. He champions the mobilization of capital pools to strengthen the sector. His leadership is key to representing the interests of the alternate asset industry to government stakeholders and policymakers, focusing on elevating India’s profile as a global hub for alternate asset investing.
Before joining IVCA, Rajat lead NASSCOM’s '10K Start-ups' initiative, which was pivotal in nurturing and scaling technology start-ups across India. His extensive experience encompasses leadership roles in IT & Telecom, Geographic Information Systems - Automobile navigation, marked by achievements in technical support, sales, and strategic initiative management.
