Jay works out of Vancouver, British Columbia, as a Sustainability Consultant. Jay has over ten years of experience in the sustainability industry, working with clients and interdisciplinary teams, developing and realizing a sustainable vision unique to each place and project. He has experience on projects across many sectors, including community centers, schools, high-rise residential and commercial, district energy centers, and more.
Jay's collaborative spirit lends to helping clients and internal design groups achieve sustainability goals, including carbon reduction, LEED certification, BC Energy Step Code compliance, and more. Jay enjoys distilling complex, holistic sustainability issues and rating systems into clear and easy-to-understand language and presentations that provide everyone on the team an understanding of the vision and metrics being pursued.

Peter champions holistic sustainability and embodied carbon reduction at Stantec. With 10 years of experience in the buildings industry with projects across Canada and the US, he brings sustainable solutions that are holistic, tailored, and unique to his clients and projects. Peter's diverse background spans across various sectors, encompassing both government and private projects, including educational, commercial, recreation, interiors, federal, provincial, municipal, and more. Peter takes pride in understanding, implementing and eventually helping clients tell their project sustainability story. He has worked closely with the Leadership Board of the Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) AB for over 5 years as Emerging Green Professionals Committee Chair empowering young professionals in the industry. In 2018, Peter was recognized with the Emerging Green Leader award by CaGBC for his commitment and contribution to advocating, educating, and practicing green buildings.
