Jonathan Ludwig is the co-founder and CEO of Fantium, a platform at the forefront of democratizing sports investments. Fantium enables athletes and clubs to access fan-based financing by making their assets investable through blockchain technology. Launched in 2023, Fantium has already helped over 25 upcoming tennis players raise around $1,000,000 to finance their careers by making their prize money investable.
Prior to Fantium, Jonathan founded and sold several companies in the employee loyalty and voucher marketing business. As an angel investor, he has invested in over 30 startups, including groundbreaking ventures like Sorare. Additionally, Jonathan is a limited partner in several venture capital funds, further showcasing his commitment to supporting innovative startups and the broader tech ecosystem.
Andrew Durgee is the President of leading digital investment platform, Republic. With a portfolio of over 2,500 companies and a community of nearly three million members from over 150 countries, Republic is the industry leader in democratizing ownership opportunities across sports, having helped raise funds for numerous sports franchises and clubs across the world, from fans and professional investors alike. Before his current role, Andrew ran Republic's web3 and digital assets division and prior to that he served as a Partner at TDLR, a leading blockchain advisory group.
Matthieu is a Managing Director at Prosek Partners, a leading integrated communications and marketing firm. He specialises in advising investment firms on all aspects of their communications across M&A, fundraising, issues management and profile building. He also leads Prosek’s sports activities in Europe and has extensive experience in advising firms investing in sports, existing owners of sports properties and sports organisations looking for investment. He was previously the Head of Communications for PAI Partners, the France-headquartered private equity firm, with other past roles including positions at Permira, the global investment firm, and Latham & Watkins, the global law firm. Matthieu holds a Master’s degree (MPhil) in Political Science from the University of Oxford. He also studied at King’s College London, the London School of Economics and Sciences-Po Paris.
