Maud Grunchard is Counsel in the competition and EU regulatory department, with over 14 years of experience advising clients on EU regulatory and environmental law. Her expertise encompasses REACH, biocides, pesticides, food additives, WEEE, RoHS, cosmetics, medical devices, worker protection, product safety, and public health.
Maud has particular expertise in the EU agrochemical and biocidal sectors, as well as commodity chemicals. She has been actively involved in the establishment and operation of Task Forces and Consortia related to REACH and the Biocidal Products Regulation. Her legal support includes data-sharing negotiations with third parties.
Maud has been involved in several cases before the European Courts in Luxembourg and the ECHA Board of Appeal in Helsinki. Notably, she participated in the first legal action against ECHA and the first action challenging the inclusion of a substance in the list of substances of very high concern.
