Stefaan joined the Gate LNG terminal in Rotterdam (NL) as commercial manager in 2008 shortly after FID. With a small team he works on the long term relationship with the 7 terminal users to further enhance the functionality of the terminal. His prior function was at Fluxys (B) where he was a.o. involved in the expansion of the Zeebrugge LNG terminal. Stefaan has spent his entire career in energy related matters (refining, petrochemicals, natural gas, banking) in a variety of functions (commercial, planning, financial, engineering, IT, analysis, …).

A practising lawyer for 10 years, Charlotte Morton studied for her MBA at London Business School before setting up a car club business. Asked to establish the business side of ADBA in 2009, she saw the potential of an industry that can deliver huge potential and value to the UK. Given the even bigger global potential, which must be achieved if the Paris Climate Change targets and UN Sustainable Development Goals are to be met, Charlotte played a pivotal role in establishing the World Biogas Association in 2016 to promote and increase the rate of uptake of biogas globally. Charlotte was awarded an OBE in the 2022 Queen’s Birthday Honours for her services to the biogas industry.

A recognized energy specialist and engineer, he is a certified manager for energy economics and received certification as an energy manager from the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK). Mike has over 15 years of experience in the energy industry and the voluntary carbon market. Before joining First Climate, he held key management and leadership positions at Deutsche Bahn and the energy supplier ENTEGA, among others.
