Sunil is a Partner who primarily specializes in the sourcing and execution of Asian investments specifically in India, Australia, Vietnam and Southeast Asia. He actively participates in all fund investment decisions at Adams Street.

Prior to joining our organization in 2007, Sunil worked for Standard Chartered Bank in Singapore performing financial and business analyses of local and regional companies and advising them. Prior to this, Sunil worked in India as an Investment and Strategy Associate in Tacogroup, the automotive technology and engineering investment arm of the Tata Group of India.

Sunil is a native Indian with permanent residency in Singapore. He is fluent in Hindi and has basic working knowledge of several Indian languages.

Megan Ruan is Co-Founder and General Partner at Gold House Ventures, the first venture fund established in the U.S. to invest exclusively in Asian-led startups. Gold House Ventures is the venture arm of Gold House Foundation, the leading cultural ecosystem in North America uniting, championing, and investing in Asian Pacific creators and companies. Its debut fund is a $30 million vehicle launched in 2022 that invests in early stage Asian-founded startups across the U.S. and Asia Pacific. In addition to leading the fund, Megan oversees the largest accelerator for Asian founders in the U.S., whose alumni have collectively raised 1 billion USD, and runs the leading membership network of Asian angel and institutional investors worldwide.

Prior to founding Gold House Ventures, Megan led venture capital investments at the Johnson & Johnson family office, managing a portfolio of over 200 funds and direct investments. Before joining the Johnson family, she advised institutional and family office clients representing $1 billion+ in assets at Morgan Stanley on strategic asset allocation, portfolio construction, and family governance. In addition to client advising, she contributed to the launch of Morgan Stanley’s inaugural Family Office Symposium, a now-annual conference convening many of the most prominent global single and multi-family office Principals and CIOs.

Megan received her Bachelor's Degree with Distinction in Economics and Psychology from Yale University and her MBA at Stanford Graduate School of Business. She grew up in Saint Paul, Minnesota and currently resides in New York City.
