Muhannad is the Founding Partner of Olive Rock Partners, the first independent Private Equity manager to be licensed in the Abu Dhabi Global Market. Olive Rock Partners focuses on control buyouts in the GCC, with a primary focus on Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

Prior to this, Muhannad was the first employee, a founding shareholder, Senior Managing Director and IC member at Gulf Capital in Abu Dhabi(14 years total), where he led all deal sourcing & proprietary origination, deal screening, global fundraising, as well as being involved in post-acquisitions strategies for the portfolio companies.

Before moving to the UAE, Muhannad was a Senior Principal at Investcorp and a Senior Investment Advisor at Morgan Stanley in London.

B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), with concentrations in creative writing & economics.
