Marko Maschek combines engineering education with entrepreneurial acumen. He grew up near Stuttgart and was an employee in the family-owned company during his school days.
After his military service he worked in consulting and software development patenting several developments in automotive applications.
Marko has been a VC- / PE- investor in Germany and the US since 1997 and co-founded Pinova and Marondo. He has been responsible for nearly 30 technology companies where some achieved a successful IPO.
Marko earned a degree in electrical engineering from KIT, an advanced degree in computer sciences from INSA (Lyon) and an MBA from Cambridge.

John Nugent is a Vice President covering technology and cyber security in the Operational Excellence Practice. He joined Apax Partners in 2020 and is currently based in London. His deal experience includes PIB Group and the Herjavec Group.
Prior to joining Apax Partners, John was a Director at PwC, where he ran the Cyber Security in M&A practice. He held several senior operating roles during his time at PwC including Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at a UK challenger bank and Divisional CISO at a global oil and gas company. John also worked as Practice Lead for Cyber Threat Intelligence and Consulting at Control Risks, an independent consultancy.
John holds an MA in International Relations from Durham University, a BA in History and Politics from Lancaster University and is a Certified Cyber Threat Intelligence Manager (CCTIM).

As Director of Strategic Relationships at Alpha Partners, Mali assists with managing the firm’s Investor Communications and Fundraising activities. Mali also contributes to Alpha’s Marketing and Operations, which includes implementing new systems and processes across the firm. Prior to Alpha Partners, Mali was a Senior Analyst at Murano Connect. At Murano, Mali led an International LP research team, which helped streamline the Fundraising efforts of various institutional GPs. Mali received his BSc in Economic History from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

Paul Harragan joined KKR in 2022 and is a member of KKR Capstone. Mr. Harragan is KKR’s Global Cybersecurity lead for the firm’s portfolio. He is a seasoned information security and cyber defense executive. Mr. Harragan was a partner with EY-Parthenon and led EYP’s cybersecurity practice across Europe, advising both private equity and corporates on cybersecurity strategy, risk, and transformation. Mr. Harragan has led Cybersecurity diligence on deals with a combined equity value of over $50bn across multiple industries and on a global basis. Mr. Harragan has held senior roles with extensive experience in Incident Response (digital forensics), Offensive Security, leadership (CISO) and is a trusted board advisor. Mr. Harragan holds a BSc in Software Engineering from the University of Westminster.

Carsten Tusch ascribes to the credo that a protected IT-Environment commencing with business continuity processes, a cybersecured IT-environment and safe operational services are established in every institution. ACG Automation Consulting Group (ACG) implements this vision in his boutique consulting agency firm focusing on cybersecurity, software development and IT-operation for financial institutions.
Carsten acquired a position at ACG software development department while balancing university studies; this garnered him the practical experience which he sought. He proceeded along his career path with steps in IT service management, cybersecurity and project management prior to reorganizing the sales department. Carsten benefitted from some additional successes and became Vice-Chairman, serving alongside the founder of ACG, who resigned his tenure from the management board in 2018. Carsten assumed the sole management of the company and accompanied the entry of the private equity investor in 2022.
Carsten completed an apprenticeship in banking and holds a diploma in economics from Goethe University in Frankfurt. He resides with his wife, three kids and a dalmatian puppy in old converted farm house in the Taunus mountains in the outskirts of Frankfurt.
