Alan Finkel AC
Corporate Adviser on Low Emissions Technology [& Former Australian Chief Scientists and Special Adviser to the Australian Government]
A neuroscientist, engineer, entrepreneur and philanthropist, Dr Alan Finkel AC ran a Silicon Valley company for 23 years and co-founded Cosmos Magazine. After serving as President of the Australian Academy of Engineering and Chancellor of Monash University, Alan was appointed Chief Scientist of Australia. He led the review of the national electricity market, the national hydrogen strategy and the low emissions technology roadmap. He is currently Chair of Stile Education, Chair of the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for Quantum Biotechnology and a corporate adviser on climate-change technologies. His book, Powering Up, was published in June 2023.
