Alan Macleod
Founder & CEO at Pure Energy
During Alan’s 30-year career he has held a number of posts in multi-site FTSE 100 companies in both Senior Management roles and latterly as a Technical Consultant.
Alan founded International Renewable Energy Infrastructure Consultancy Pure energy (REGen) Limited to add value to Renewable Energy and Circular Economy related project developments, now operating internationally.
The vision of Pure energy (REGen) Ltd is to be a value based renewable energy generation provider to SME businesses, playing a constructive role in maximising the proven benefits of low-cost renewable energy applications, while supporting our customers demonstrate sustainability to their stakeholder community. Pure energy (REGen) Ltd.’s core business is focused on clean energy generation, electrified transportation and Waste to Energy (W2E) Technology Infrastructure Design and Facilities Management, within a variety of business sector applications.
Pure energy (Regen) Ltd is also currently involved in Technology Advisory Roles, together with Cambridge Consultants Ltd and Element Energy Ltd, to both Financial Institutions and Government Energy Departments, with active projects ongoing in the Arabian Gulf Region, focused on developing renewable energy sector project resources and best value technology applications through market segment analysis and a commercial value proposition focused on the transition to sustainable development within the Region.
Alan is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. Manufacturers and Commerce. He is a Chartered Engineer and Member of the UK Energy Institute and Entrepreneurial Scotland. Alan was also selected to participate in the UK Royal Academy of Engineering “Visiting Engineers Scheme – Japan”, spending one year seconded to Mitsui & Co, based in Tokyo, Okayama and Hong Kong.
