Anu Somani is the Head of Global Payables and Embedded Payments at U.S. Bank. In her role, Anu is responsible for developing the next generation of embedded and instant payment solutions for clients, driving solutions for clients that combine existing and evolving payment systems. Under Anu’s leadership, U.S. Bank launched its Payment Innovation Studio in 2019. In the studio, Anu’s team works collaboratively with corporate clients to develop real-world solutions to the unique payment and treasury management challenges businesses are facing.
Over the course of her career – which has included finance and payment roles in Singapore, South Korea, Switzerland, the U.S. and UK – Anu has been named one of PaymentSource’s Most Influential Women in Payments Next and also an Emerging Leader in Banking and Finance by Crain’s New York. Anu works out of U.S. Bank’s New York City office and has an MBA from London Business School.
